Ugwafu Lustre Tablemat
Intricately handwoven using locally harvested natural ugwafu grasses, these beautiful tablemats are a stunning addition to any table setting. Simple and elegant, they have a wonderful lustre to them and can also be used as a centre piece or trivet. They also go nicely together with our Ugwafu Coaster Set.
Made by talented women weavers in the tri-border region of Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, we work with an NGO to produce these unique mats and support them to nurture sustainable jobs for women weavers.
These mats are much more sturdy and well made than the equivalent high street mats and are made to last.
