Imperfect Small African Blackwood Scoops

Imperfect Small African Blackwood Scoops

£8.00Price

One of our best-sellers, these elegant little African Blackwood Scoops have an eye-catching bold design.

These particular spoons may have some of the following imperfections: a slightly more rustic finish than our usual design / wood graining dis-colouration.

However, they work perfectly as a scoop and are especially good for keeping in jars of sugar, salt and spices. We use our imperfect scoops daily in our own kitchen and they are fit for purpose and lovely to use.

Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.

Made in Tanzania

Material: African Blackwood

Please note although the wood is called African Blackwood, it can sometimes have light grains and sections running through it, giving it a wonderful two tone look.

Size: 8cm long (approx)

Care: Hand wash gently in lukewarm water and dry immediately. Do not put in the dishwasher or leave soaking in liquids. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
