Imperfect oval bowl sample
A sample piece for an oval shaped bowl. This piece is good for a shelf ornament. Some wood filler has been used so not suitable for food.
The bowl can be used decoratively as a statement piece on a coffee table or shelf.
We work directly with our group of Makonde wood carvers who are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations from father to son.

Material: African Blackwood
Please note although the wood is called African Blackwood, it can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it. We love the two tone look and hope you do too.
Care: Hand wash gently in lukewarm water and dry immediately. Do not put in the dishwasher or leave soaking in liquids. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
