Cotton Face Mask
Cloth Masks | Made for the mindful
For every mask 10% of the cost is donated to vulnerable individuals in Kenya.
We have partnered with sustainable brand LILA.BARE in Kenya to produce a two layer face covering. One layer is made with Cotton Made in Africa (CMiA sustainably certified) fabric, grown within the East African region. This cotton initiative supports local farmers and ensures they are paid fairly for their hard work.
The other layer of our masks are made using LILA.BARE's hand-block printed premium cotton. This fabric is sourced directly from the family who makes them.
The inner layer has a small opening giving you the option to add a filter. For example if you are commuting or in a busy place you can then remove this filter once at work or in a quieter place. It allows you to still wear a softer cotton mask, but have added protection when you need it.
Available in a variety of beautiful patterns, we have chosen a flexible and sustainable design. Masks can be worn in two ways as image 2 shows. An additional option is to add two elastic bands to the fabric ties behind the ears. This means you get the comfort of the fabric on top of the ears without the elastic pulling down on them. This style allows for multiple ways to wear and a good fit to any face shape.
