Made by Filbert (our artisan in Mtwara, Tanzania), these pieces have been beautifully carved and are a perfect gift for a foodie or keen instagrammer. Many of the scoops feature a unique two-toned natural grain, showcasing the raw natural beauty of African Blackwood.
We work directly with our group of Makonde wood carvers who are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations from father to son.

Material: African BlackwoodPlease note although the wood is called African Blackwood, it can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it. We love the two tone look and hope you do too.
Sizes:Small - Length 8cm | Depth 2.5cm
Large - Length 11cm | Depth 3.5cm
Care: Hand wash gently in lukewarm water and dry immediately. Do not put in the dishwasher or leave soaking in liquids. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
