Inspired by the shapes, tastes and culture of our East African heritage, this scoop was designed in collaboration with Dine with Dina.
The unique twisted handle and generous scoop make it ideal for scooping grains, granolas, coffee and flour. It is also great for serving cream and smaller side dishes. It's a beautifully tactile piece - sculptural, practical and stylish.
Some of the scoops feature a unique two-toned natural grain, showcasing the raw natural beauty of African Blackwood.
This scoop has been carved by our team of Makonde wood carvers who are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations. Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.

Material: African BlackwoodThis type of wood can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it. We love the two tone look and hope you do too.

Care: Hand wash and dry immediately. Not dishwasher safe / do not leave soaking in liquids. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
