It's perfect for scooping spices, grains, sugar, coffee and flour and makes for a lovely gift.
Mninga wood has a naturally appealing texture and distinctive grain.
The scoops are handmade for us in southern Tanzania by our artisan Filbert, who uses a traditional free hand carving technique allowing him to have more control over the shape. We work directly with our group of Makonde wood carvers who are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations from father to son.
Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.

Material: Mninga Wood
Size: 10.5cm long x 5.5cm spoon diameter (approx)
Care: Hand wash gently in lukewarm water and dry immediately. Do not put in the dishwasher or leave soaking in liquids. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
